Product Industrialization Specialist

Your Responsibilities

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Lead the product industrialization projects (needs analysis, definition of requirements, schedule monitoring, risk management, identification of stakeholders);
  • Carry out technical studies (time and motion, production line balancing, layout plans, etc.);
  • Coordinate and/or design jigs, workstations, etc., taking into account basic ergonomic concepts;
  • Produce technical documentation for assembly lines;
  • Define and implement training needs for production;
  • Analyze project needs in line with the industrialization strategy;
  • Organize and lead meetings (problem solving, design review, brainstorm, etc.);
  • Document projects and processes;
  • Respect quality procedures relating to production and product development;
  • All other related tasks.

Education + Experience Required

  • College degree (DEC - Industrial or Mechanical Engineering);
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification an asset.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing sector.

Qualifications + Skills Required

  • Practical knowledge and experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office software skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio;
  • Programming (SQL, VBA) an asset;
  • Able to effectively communicate, orally and written, in French.
  • Able to effectively communicate, orally and written, in English to interact daily with international colleagues, clients and partners who do not speak French;
  • Good sense of analysis and organization;
  • Leadership, communication skills and ease of working in a team;
  • Be able to manage several projects at once;
  • Thrive in a changing environment (change of priority);
  • Knowledge of software: Solidwork, AutoCad, SketchUp, Virtual Process (Asset);
